Marketing 101: How To Be E-FFECTIVE at E-MARKETING?

E Marketing or “email marketing,” is the same as direct mail marketing except that instead of sending mail through the postal service, messages are sent electronically via email. But with all the spam polluting the World Wide Web, how can your E-Marketing campaign filter through, towards success?

There are tips and tricks to get the best results when putting together an “E-Blast,” or email campaign:

· Don’t send too many emails. Once a month is enough contact with customers or potential customers. Try and make it the same date every month, so they can come to expect it–showing your dependability. Also it will protect your brand. Sometimes companies get over zealous with E Marketing and send so many emails that they get black listed, and marked as Spam. Remember you want your emails to be a delight, not an annoyance.

· The subject “matter.” Whatever the subject of your email, make sure it is appropriate for your targeted recipients. Remember this is your one time per month to grab their attention for possible future business. Also, don’t try to lure them in under false pretenses with a misleading subject. The recipient might feel tricked or foolish, which could give your company a dishonest impression.

· Content is king. Now that you have their attention make sure you you’re your content is fresh and informative. Don’t be afraid to be (appropriately) funny, or present a new idea. But keep it short and to the point. The average person is bombarded with daily emails, and does not want to spend a lot of time reading lengthy emails.

· Make sure to pass your own test. Sometimes when you send an e blast, it looks different than expected. So make sure to send it to yourself, and several outside email addresses to see if all your characters properly convert. Make sure to send it to a fresh pair of eyes. Sometimes we miss spelling mistakes and grammatical errors, because we have been working on something so long it all starts to look correct. A fresh pair of eyes brings a fresh perspective, and can help you catch those little tweaks you need to make. Also you can see if the subject you picked doesn’t land your email into the spam folder. If you can’t beat your own spam folder, you might not beat someone else’s.

· Personalize your emails. Even though you are sending a massive email, don’t make them seem generic. Almost all E Marketing software has a feature where you can place the appropriate fields to personalize names into the email. Sometimes giving that little personal touch makes all the difference when wooing new customers, or retaining old ones.

· Avoid spam triggers. Be careful when you pick your subject headlines. Certain words, phrases, or symbols will flag your email as being spam. Some examples of common spam word triggers are: free, save, discounts, check, call, claims, here, or marketing. Some examples of spam-friendly phrases are: “All new, buy direct, free preview, free offer, get it now, or no-obligation” Also, never write your subject in all caps, and avoid the use of dollar signs and exclamation points!

Cooking With Craft Gin

What is craft gin and what are the benefits of it

The benefits of cooking with craft gin can include a unique flavour and aroma that cannot be replicated by any other type of liquor. Craft gin can add a fresh new element of taste to your favourite dishes.

Recipes for appetizers, entrees, desserts, and more using craft gin as an ingredient

Here are some recipes to make some glorious tasting dishes using craft gin.

Thai Green Curry with Shrimp – First clean and shell your shrimp, then marinate them in the gin for ten minutes. Then add them to a Thai green curry that has been simmering away on the stovetop and stir well. Add some chopped cilantro leaves just before serving it out onto plates with jasmine rice or sticky rice alongside it.
Lobster Bisque – Lobster bisque can taste sensational when made using a bit of craft gin. First make a roux using butter, flour and gin. Then add some onions to the mixture for flavour before adding your fish stock along with chopped lobster meat. Stir well until boiling point is reached, then let it simmer away gently on low heat for twenty minutes.

Pork Chop Oreganato – This is one tasty Italian classic that you can cook using gin. First marinate some pork chops overnight to give them extra flavour before adding garlic salt, black pepper, chopped oregano leaves for taste, along with generous amounts of olive oil. Grill away over medium heat for five minutes each side or until golden brown before serving garnished with fresh lemon wedges alongside your choice of salad vegetables if desired.
Pan Seared Scallops – Clean each scallop by removing its brown end then dry them off very thoroughly using paper towels, before placing them into a bowl of craft gin marinade that has been sitting overnight in the fridge. Leave this mix to sit at room temperature while you make your risotto as they will be ready just about when your risotto comes out of the oven. Season both sides of each scallop with salt before cooking.

Gin & Tonic Panna Cotta – Add a few drops of gin into this panna cotta for an added zing that will have you coming back for more.

Cheesecake – You can infuse your cheesecake base by adding some craft gin or even use it as part of the topping by whipping up some cream cheese frosting infused with it.

How to cook with different types of gin

There are different flavours of artisanal gin in the market, so what kind of dishes should be made with each different kind? Here are some suggestions:

Bombay Sapphire Gin is great for cooking Asian cuisine. Use this to make a Thai-style soup or an Indian curry with some rice that features ginger, coriander, cumin seeds and green chillies.
For European dishes try using the classic London dry style of Tanqueray Gin instead, which has notes of juniper berries combined with lemon peel.
If you love fresh herbs than go ahead and use Hendricks’ Gin’s sweet floral flavour made from rose petals in your cocktail by mixing it up with sugar syrup infused honeydew melon cubes.
Spice flavoured gins are great for making marinades with. Try using Old Raj Gin which has distinctive flavour of black pepper and coriander to marinate chicken or lamb before cooking on the BBQ.
For dessert, why not try something different like making a raspberry gin sorbet? Simply mix together fresh raspberries, caster sugar syrup and some pink grapefruit juice then place in the freezer.
Fruit flavoured gins are better to make desserts with. Try using Moniack Gin which has a blend of strawberry and raspberry to add an extra dimension when cooking desserts such as pavlova or fruit salads.
Old Bakery Gin is best used for marinating seafood.
Archangel Gin can be used to make dishes such as venison, beef and lamb even more tasty.
For barbecues try using Rich Tea gin which has a touch of Ceylon tea leaves added to the mix; this will add an extra dimension when cooking meats on your barbecue.

If you have little bits of gin remaining in bottles after festivities or parties, you can use these for your cooking, and you can be sure of some delectably flavoured dishes that will elevate your cooking to the next level.

Understanding How and Why Internet Marketing Works

The concept of internet marketing is simple and consists of two primary principles. First, a company relies on independent representatives, or distributors, to sell its products and services directly to to consumers. That’s why it’s called direct selling. The company is spared the expenses typically associated with the middleman in business. In direct selling, you don’t need retail space or massive and costly advertising campaigns. The independent representatives, using a variety of marketing vehicles, dynamically advanced products and services to the point of purchase.

Second; the representatives are granted the opportunity to build their own independent sales organization and network of marketers or better know as a down-line.The representatives receive a percentage of the cash revenues generated monthly by the network. Some levels of the network pay a higher commission than others. I will discuss compensation plans in another article. This is an example of a down-line, you have one person named Pete, Pete recruits Jane and Bobby, Jane recruits John and Keith and Bobby recruits Jim and Frank, now John, Keith, Jim and Frank each recruit two or more people, all of these people are in Pete’s down-line and Pete would be considered a part of Jane and Bobby’s up-line, Jane is a part of John and Keith’s up-line, if you draw a diagram of this on a sheet of paper you might see how it forms a pyramid and some people may refer to network marketing as a pyramid scheme; but pyramid schemes are illegal.

People who refer to network marketing being a scam or pyramid scheme and sometimes make negative comments about different internet marketing companies are often referred to as “crybabies”, these are ex-internet marketers who probably gave up before they succeeded. They tend to blame everything thats wrong with network marketing and probably the problems of the world! Stay away from their websites, they try to steer everyone away from success; because they have failed at it!

The logic behind internet marketing is simple, but the implementation is complex. The distributors depend on the internet marketing company to provide desirable, quality products and services and to create the supporting systems such as operations, marketing, sales, customer service, and personal development. The company depends on it distributors to learn follow the systems and then teach the systems to other distributors whom they sponsor in their down-line. The ultimate failure or success of a internet marketing company depends on the effectiveness of it’s systems and the ability of it people to teach band follow them. For all of this to work, the parties must be committed, enthusiastic, and cooperative, not to mention fair and honest.

Internet marketing companies build the machine that makes it possible for internet marketers to succeed. For a small investment, people can wok from home and get all the tools and support they need directly from the company or the company who sponsors them.It woks because people are given every chance to succeed without a lot of investment and a lot of skills.

Even in a strong economy, many people need supplemental income. Most people live paycheck to paycheck, That is if they have a J.O.B (Just Over Broke). Most people can’t afford the nice things they want, or send their kids to college, and since there is seldom opportunity to make extra money in a job people resort to network marketing. The risk is low, and the potential return is great, as a result there will always be the need for network and internet marketing. I refer to internet marketing because network marketing is accomplished by using the power of the internet.

People are looking for for freedom from wok and jobs they don’t enjoy, and for money, and they can find both in network marketing. The combination is to tempting to pass up. Where else can you find a concept that gives you more of what you want just for helping them distribute their products and services?

Time seems to be the factor that Americans value most, and internet marketing can give them more of it by allowing them to work from home. They don’t have to commute, and they don’t have to get dressed! The desire for more time may encourage more of America’s dissatisfied workers to start their own internet marketing business.

The products and services are attractive, and they attract people to the profession. Network marketers are ground breakers. They are often responsible for introducing new products and services.Once a internet marketer has a positive experience with a network marketed product, then they’re hooked. They want to tell everyone about their experience, and in the process create their own business
